Starting up the laminating machine
1. Place the laminator on a flat, secure, stable surface.
2. Fix the cool down tray (3) to the back side of the laminator by inserting the two ends if
the metal frame to the two holes on the back side of the bottom housing.
3. Plug the power cord into a standard 220 - 240 V outlet
4. Press the power switch (1) to the on (-) position, the POWER/READY LED (green
color) and the pouches thickness setting LED (blue color) will flash.
5. Press the SET button (2) to choose the desired pouches thickness setting.
6. When the setting is done, the POWER/READY LED will keep flashing for about 1 –
1.5 minutes till the temperature is ready for lamination.
7. 80 mic setting should be used for laminating standard printing paper or lighter weight
items. The setting for 125 micron and upper should be used for photo paper,
business cards, and other thick items.

Caution
a) Choose a film of correspondingly suitable size in relation to the material that is to be
laminated respectively.
b) It is not recommended to process several smaller materials in one film.
c) Do not cut up the film before the laminating is done.
d) The material that is to be laminated is not allowed to be thicker than 0.5 mm including the
film.
e) It is imperative to only laminate very thin or soft materials, like newspaper or serviettes for
example, with thicker films (125 microns). We recommend refraining from any attempt to do
so!
