Engine
Do a check of the en-
gine oil level.
Change the engine oil
(models with oil filter).
Change the engine oil
(models without oil fil-
ter).
Clean the air filter.
Clean the air screen.
Do an inspection of the
muffler and the spark
arrester.
Replace the oil filter (if it
is equipped).
Clean the engine cool-
ing fins.
Replace the spark plug.
Replace the paper car-
tridge of the air filter.
Replace the fuel filter
Do a check of the muf-
fler. Refer to
check of the muffler on
page 8 .
Lubrication schedule
CAUTION:
pivot points that have special nylon
bearings. Tacky lubricants can attach
dirt. The dirt decreases the life of the
special nylon bearings. If it is necessary
to lubricate the nylon bearings, use only
a small quantity of dry type lubricant.
