this key has a triple function:
1. Dimmer function: increases or reduces the luminous intensity of the LEDs both during the daytime phase and during the
night-time phase;
2. Timer function: increases the time set in the preset program by 1 hour (+1h) each time it is pressed
3. Reset to program: goes back to the timer program if the lights have been turned on or off using the key, bypassing the
automatic time program.

Press and hold these 2 keys together for about 2 seconds to access timer programming.
Important specifications:
a) The LED strips fitted in NEWA Mirabello aquariums feature LEDs of 3 different colours, the combination of which depends on
EN
the intended use of the specific model:
• White LEDs with high colour temperature and ample light spectrum (MIR 40/70);
• red LEDs intended for freshwater aquariums to promote photosynthesis of the flora and improve the vividness of the colours
of the fauna (MIR70);
a) The dimmer, timer and on/off functions affect the different LEDs simultaneously. It is not possible to control a single colour
independently.
c) The lighting system is provided with a device that in case of black out keeps the customized program for 40 minutes
maximum:
• If the power supply is restored after 40 minutes, the LED lighting system will restart with the programming preset by the
manufacturer and it will be necessary to program it again to change the basic settings;
• The lighting system is provided with a device that in case of black out keeps the customized program for 40 minutes maximum.
d) The dimmer function allows to set the following:
• the brightness level during the daytime phase from 15% to 100%;
• the brightness level during the night-time phase from 2% to 15%.
WARNING: This customisation can only take place during these phases. It is not possible to use the dimmer
function during the sunrise or sunset phases.
e) Both the sunrise and sunset phases last 40 minutes each and directly affect the duration of the daytime phase (Fig.20). As a
result, when you calculate the duration of the daytime phase, consider a reduction of 80 minutes (1h 20'). For example: to make
the daytime phase last 10 hours, compared to the factory settings, the actual daytime phase will be 8 hours and 40 minutes
(Fig.22).
Operation and duration of the preset program (Fig.21):
The LED strips fitted in NEWA Mirabello aquariums feature a program preset by the manufacturer with:
• Duration of daytime phase: 8 hours including the sunrise phase (40 minutes) and the sunset phase (40 minutes);
• Total full daylight: 6 hours and 40 minutes;
• Duration of night-time phase: 16 hours.
The program described above starts when the lighting system is activated for the first time by plugging it into the power outlet
or after a power failure lasting Mirabello than 40 minutes.
The preset program will start its cycle from the daytime phase with the LEDs at their maximum power, skipping only the sunrise
phase and continuing as described above. The sunrise phase will be restored the next day, maintaining the complete day/night
cycle, following the durations of each phase starting from the time when it was first activated
(or when the power supply is restored after a power failure lasting Mirabello than 40 minutes).
WARNING: Each time the electrical power supply is connected, the lighting system will calibrate the touch keys.
This operation lasts about 3 seconds.
Customised programming:
To customise the day/night cycle, by changing the preset program, the timer is easily programmable by following
the instructions below.
