GETTING STARTED AND OPERATION
Before first use
• Remove any packaging materials completely.
• Before switching the appliance on for the first time, wipe the grill plate, spatulas and
mini pans with a damp cloth.
• Heat the appliance and the pans for about 20 minutes, without any food in, to
eliminate the smell typically encountered when first switching on a grill (a small
amount of smoke may also be noticeable). Adequate ventilation should be ensured
by opening windows or balcony doors.
Aluminium grill plate
Before the appliance is switched on, position the grill plate on top of the appliance
over the heating element, ensuring that the recesses in the plate fit securely onto the
corresponding supports.
Preparing the natural stone grill plate (accessory)
If you use the stone grill plate with article, this must be prepared for use to prevent stress
cracks (one-time operation).
1
Lightly rub a small amount of heat-resistant cooking oil (for example peanut oil)
over the stone grill plate and all around the edges, place the stone grill plate in an
oven preheated to 250°C and heat for at least 30 minutes.
