These instructions are intended for users without
any specific technical knowledge . Please read these
instructions carefully prior to operation and keep
them for later reference .
All operating elements and connections de-
scribed can be found on the fold-out page 3 .

1.1 Front panel
1 Volume control for the output level at the out-
puts AF OUT . (9) and (10)
2 Multifunction LC display (fig . 2)
a indication SCAN: flashes in the adjusting
mode "SCAN" (automatic frequency scan-
ning)
b indication AF ("Audio Frequency") for the
volume of the audio signal received [inde-
pendent of the volume control (1)]: the
longer the bar graph, the higher the vol-
ume level
c indication RF ("Radio Frequency") for the
strength of the radio signal received: the
longer the bar graph, the better the recep-
tion
d battery symbol: indicates the charging status
of the batteries of the transmitter
e indication PEAK for the audio signal re-
ceived: should only shortly light up with
signal peaks; if it lights up permanently,
the audio signal is overloaded
f indication FREQ .: flashes in the adjusting
mode "FREQ ." (manual frequency adjust-
ment)
g reception indication
of the two receiver sections of the unit
receives the radio signal of higher strength
h indication MUTE: indicates that the receiver
is muted because it receives either a radio
signal which is too poor or no radio signal
at all
i indication of the frequency adjusted

4 Cursor keys for frequency adjustment

Outside the adjusting modes, the key
serves for activating and deactivating the
lock function: keep the key pressed until the
display indicates

8 Power supply jack for connection of the power
supply unit provided
9 Unbalanced output AF OUT . UNBAL . (6 .3 mm
jack) for connecting a line input of a mixer or
amplifier
10 Balanced output AF OUT . BAL . (XLR) for con-
necting a balanced microphone input of a
mixer or amplifier
11 BNC antenna jacks ANT . 1 and ANT . 2 for the
two antennas (6) provided

WARNING The power supply unit uses danger-
ous mains voltage . Leave servicing
to skilled personnel only . Inexpert
handling of the unit may result in

them against dripping water and splash water,
high air humidity and heat (admissible ambient
temperature range 0 – 40 °C) .
