12.3.5.4. Privacy Mask
You can use privacy masks to hide certain areas in the live view to prevent these areas from being
recorded and viewed in the live view. A maximum of 8 rectangular privacy masks can be set up in the
video image.
To set up a privacy mask, proceed as follows. Select the checkbox
"Enable Privacy Mask". Use the PTZ control or the predefined presets to choose the desired position.
To add a privacy mask, click "Draw Area". You can now select an area on the camera image using
your mouse. Then press the "Add" button. You can then select and add 7 additional areas. By clicking
on "Clear All", you can delete all marked areas. To remove a privacy mask, select it in the table below
and click on the 'Delete' button.
After you have added a privacy mask, you can allocate a name to it in the table. You can also quickly
deactivate privacy masks in the 'Enable' column.
In the column 'Enable zoom ratio', you can define the zoom level at which the privacy mask appears.
For example, with a set value of 3", the privacy mask will appear when the zoom level has reached 3".
Apply the settings by clicking "Save".
