Important safety precaution
The dust container must be emptied when necessary and always after each use.
Care and maintenance
Keep the machine clean and free from dust deposits. Ensure that the suction hose and all seals are intact and undamaged. Keep
the carrying handles dry and free from oil and grease.
Inspection
Regularly check the device for damage and wear. Any damage must be rectified by a Dustcontrol authorized service center.
Transportation
When transporting the machine in a way other than to roll it, the container must be emptied. Brakes on front wheels must always
be locked when the machine is not rolled.
Functional description
DC 5800 Turbo EX
Machine for suction and removal of dry, hazardous, inflammable, non-conductive dust according to dust class H in Zone 22.
When used for its intended purpose, the machine is therefore suitable for the separation of dry, hazardous, inflammable, non-
conductive dust with all limit values (dust with ELVs and dust with carcinogenic substances).
The dust extractor is an electrically driven dust separator of robust design for use in connection with dust generating activities in
the industry. Dust extractors are suitable for collecting inflammable dust in Zone 22. Industrial dust extractors are intended for
suction and removal of dust deposits. Explosion protection is provided by insulation of the electrical parts and potential
equalization of the components that come into contact with dust.
The machine can be used at temperatures between +10 and +40°C and is suitable for general cleaning.
Regular cleaning of the workplace is important to prevent dust explosions.
The dust extractor uses negative pressure (suction) to force the air through suction cover/nozzle, hose system, pre-separator and
dust separator. Coarse separation is carried out in the machine's cyclone, providing very effective separation of any coarse dust.
The fine dust is separated in the unit's filter cartridge. Reverse pulse filter cleaning ensures extended filter life.
Always check that the electrical equipment and cables for the equalization are undamaged and that all accessories are antistatic.
Connect the plug to an electrical socket outside the zone with voltage as specified on the machine's marking.
The material is separated into a container attached directly to the cyclone. The filter is cleaned using reverse pulse. The
separated and filtered material is collected into a container with a plastic sack insert, see consumables. The container can easily
be removed from the machine by releasing the fasteners, which makes it easy to take the material away.

without accessories for the collection of combustible dust in an atmosphere (Zone 22) designated as explosive.
CAUTION
The machine contains hazardous dust. Emptying and maintenance operations, including removal of the dust
extraction container, must only be carried out by qualified personnel who must wear appropriate protective
equipment. Do not use the unit without the entire filter system in place.
