ENERPAC AUTOMOTIVE LIFTING EQUIPMENT
LIMITED LIFE TIME WARRANTY
Effective February 1, 2000
Enerpac Automotive Lifting Equipment, consisting of hydraulic bottle jacks, air bottle jacks, telescopic bottle
jacks, service/floor jacks, air hydraulic jacks, transmission jacks, engine stands, jacks stands, engine cranes,
long rams, wheel dollies, shop presses and auto body repair sets, with the exceptions set forth below, are
warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product or part.
Products such as chains, extension tubes, pins and attachments that accompany auto body sets, batteries,
electric motors, blades or accessories sold with Enerpac Automotive Lifting Equipment products are
warranted for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase.
This warranty is expressly limited to the original purchaser using the product in the normal course of its
business. This warranty does not cover any product or part that has been abused, worn out, neglected,
ground, rusted, heated or altered for a purpose other than for which it was intended or used in a manner
inconsistent with any instructions regarding its use.
THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING
WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE. No agent, employee or representative of Enerpac Automotive has any authority to
bind Enerpac Automotive to any affirmation, representation or warranty which purports to extend or otherwise
broaden the limited warranty specified herein.
To qualify for warranty consideration, the purchaser must return the product or part which is alleged to be
defective, freight prepaid, to the nearest Enerpac Automotive Service Center. The customer should contact
Enerpac Automotive to locate an Authorized Service Center in the customer's area. If any product or part
manufactured by Enerpac Automotive is found to be defective by Enerpac Automotive, Enerpac Automotive
will, at its option, either repair or replace such defective product or part, and return it via ground transportation,
freight prepaid. This remedy of repair or replacement shall be the purchaser's sole remedy for breach of this
limited warranty.
IN NO EVENT SHALL ENERPAC AUTOMOTIVE BE LIABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES: (A) FOR ANY
INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY
LOST PROFITS OR LABOR COSTS) ARISING FROM THE SALE, USE OR INSTALLATION OF THE
PRODUCT; (B) FOR ANY PRODUCT THAT HAS BEEN INCORPORATED INTO ANOTHER PRODUCT; OR
(C) FOR ANY OTHER CLAIM WHATSOEVER, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY (EXPRESSED OR
IMPLIED) OR OTHERWISE BASED ON CONTRACT, OR ON TORT OR ANY OTHER THEORY OF
LIABILITY, AND REGARDLESS OF ANY ADVICE OR REPRESENTATIONS THAT MAY HAVE BEEN
RENDERED BY ENERPAC AUTOMOTIVE CONCERNING THE DESIGN, MANUFACTURE, SALE, USE OR
INSTALLATION OF THE PRODUCT.
