CARTRIDGE REPLACEMENT
- Turn off the water supply to the faucet .
- Take off the plastic temperature indicator (1) by hand, then use the hex key to remove the set screw (2) and pull the
handle body (3) off .
- Unscrew the decorative cap (4) and retaining nut (5), making sure not to damage the threads .
- Pull out the cartridge (6) and replace it with a new ceramic cartridge .
- Reinstall the retaining nut (5) making sure the cartridge (6) is properly seated within the faucet body (7) .
- Reinstall the decorative cap (4) and tighten gently by hand .
- Reinstall the handle body (3) and lock it in place using the hex key and the set screw (2) . Do not over tighten .
- Reinstall the temperature indicator (1) into the handle body (3) making sure the red is on the left and the blue is on the right .
- Turn the water supply to the faucet back on .
- Operate the faucet to make sure everything works correctly and check for leaks .
