90%. The device must be positioned so as not to cover
its ventilation openings, and the space around the device
should ensure good air circulation. Keep the device
away from hot surfaces. The appliance should always be
used on an even, stable, clean, fireproof and dry surface
protected from adverse weather conditions, e.g., rain or
direct sunlight, and the risk of getting wet. Do not leave the
device tilted more than 30°. If the tilt angle should exceed
the permissible value, do not operate the device at least 4
hours afterwards.
Disassemble the device and all its components and clean
them before the first use.
TRANSPORT
The device should be carried using both handles, preferably
by two persons.
CONNECTING THE DEVICE TO POWER SUPPLY
The device is designed to work with DC 12V or 24V power
supply (e.g., car lighter socket or car battery). If the
device is in operation when the car engine switches off,
the device will automatically turn off and the voltage will
drop below the programmed value. The device will switch
on automatically when the vehicle's engine is restarted.
To provide the device with a reliable and constant power
supply, you can connect it directly to the battery.
IMPORTANT
•
Do not connect the device to a battery being charged.
•
Too-high voltage may damage the device.
•
The device is equipped with reverse polarity
protection and short-circuit protection.
•
To protect the battery, the device turns off
automatically if the power source voltage is
insufficient.
3.3. DEVICE USE
A
B
A. eco / max (mode switch)
B. power (device on/off)
C. up (temperature increase in setting mode)
D. down (temperature decrease in setting mode)
1)
Place the device on the appropriate surface.
2)
Connect the power cord to a power source (such as a
car cigarette lighter).
3)
Connect the other end of the power cord to the
device.
4)
Switch on the device using the [B] button.
After switching on, the device will display the temperature
inside the cooling compartment.
TURN ON THE COOLING
Press and hold the [B] button for 3 to 5 seconds until it turns
red. The temperature display will come on and the device
will start cooling.
TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT
Press the [A] button once - the temperature display will
blink. Press the [C] button to increase the temperature.
Press the [D] button to lower the temperature. The device's
compressor will start when the set temperature is higher
by 0.5 °C to 1.5 °C and it will work until the temperature
9
EN
drops by 0.5 °C to 1.5 °C below the set temperature. The
temperature inside the device may vary depending on
where it is measured. The display shows the temperature
at the centre of the cooling compartment.
MODE CHANGE
Press the [A] button 2 times, the display will show the
currently set mode. The modes are: eco or max. To switch
between modes press the [C] or [D] key. In the max mode,
the display shows "HH" and the red LED is on. When the eco
mode is running, the display shows "ECO" and the green
LED is on. Note: the LEDs light up after approx. 1 min from
setting the respective operating mode! To return to the max
mode from the eco mode, press and hold the [A] button
for approximately 5 seconds, after which the modes can be
selected again.
EMERGENCY MODE
If the control panel is malfunctioning, the emergency mode
can be activated using the emergency mode switch [5]. In

3.4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
a)
b)
c)
d)
e)
Do not store fresh and frozen food side by side
in the appliance. This can cause freezing and / or
deterioration of fresh food.
When the appliance is set to 0 °C or below, do not
store glass bottles filled with liquids, such as beer,
milk, juices or soft drinks. They can freeze and cause
the packaging to break.
Products such as fruits and vegetables should be
stored closer to the top of the cooling compartment
because that area is usually a bit warmer. This will
reduce the risk of their deterioration and protect
them from being crushed by heavier items.
To improve the efficiency of the device, it is
recommended that the cooling compartment be as
full as possible at all times. The full compartment
ensures lower energy consumption over 24 hours
than when it is half full, because there is less space
between the food products, which helps maintain the
temperature. When traveling, it is good to replace
food products removed from the compartment with
e.g., water bottles. This will fill the empty space and
help maintain cold temperature inside the cooling
compartment.
Frequently opening the lid causes warm air to enter
the cooling compartment. It is recommended to open
the lid as seldom as possible.
If the device is placed in the back of a car or trailer, it
should be protected from direct sunlight. Adequate
ventilation should also be provided to ensure efficient
energy consumption of the device and its good
efficiency. Remember that when the vehicle is parked
in the sun when the ambient temperature is + 30 °C,
the interior of the vehicle can reach + 55 °C.
Unplug the mains plug and allow the device to cool
completely before each cleaning, adjustment or
replacement of accessories, or if the device is not
being used.
Use only non-corrosive cleaners to clean the surface.
After cleaning the device, all parts should be dried
completely before using it again.
Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture
and direct exposure to sunlight.
Do not spray the device with a water jet or submerge
it in water.
