Filling the reservoir
Lift the reservoir water fill cover (8) and fill the water reservoir without overflowing. Once
finished, lower the cover (8).
NOTE: The reservoir may contain some water as each product is tested before
being put on the market.
It is recommended to place a cloth between the iron and the fabric when using the
iron for the first time. It is recommended to direct a jet of steam into the air before
starting to iron, for any residual condensation to be let out.
ATTENTION - FIRST USE AND LONG PERIODS NOT IN USE
When used for the first time or after long period of not being used, if
the steam button (11) is pressed, a soft hum shall be heard and the
appliance will not not produce steam. This phenomenon is absolutely
normal and related to the normal start-up of the product.
Press the steam button (11) until the hum stops and the iron begins to
dispense steam (about 1 minute).
Ironing
•
Connect the plug (7) to a suitable socket.
•
Press the ON/OFF button (1).
•
The ON LED (2) will light up.
•
Adjust the iron temperature (10) according to the international symbols on the clothing
labels and wait for the plate temperature LED (9) to go off.
•
The plate temperature LED (9) goes on and off intermittently while ironing, thereby
indicating that the appliance maintains the optimal temperature.
•
Press the steam button (11) to steam iron.
•
Dry iron by not pressing the steam button (11).
NOTE: Press the SUPER STEAM button (4) when delicate garments are to be
ironed. The delicate garments LED (3) lights up.
