OPERATING THE TRUE LIGHT
The main On/Off switch (1)is on the top of the True-
Light.
TrueLight is equipped with LED lights arranged as fol-
lows:
• A central group of eight lights (10) around the
window
• Two groups of six lateral LED lights (9)
A series of +/- buttons at the top of the TrueLight (3 to
adjust the intensity of the light gradient
separately for each of the three groups.
To dim or switch off a group of LED lights, press the
corresponding(-) button. Similarly,
press the (+) button to increase the intensity or switch
on a group of LED lights. There are four levels of in-
tensity.
TrueLight maintains the intensity selected when
switched off and on again.
OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES
• Diffuser - mounted on the left and right LED
blocks (2 pieces)
• Filter - mounted on the 8 central LEDs (1 piece)
The diffusers and filter must be securely installed on
the front of the TrueLight.
Note: The sunken nut (5) in the lower part of the True
Light (next to the Type-c port), is used to secure the
lamp to the tripod or the adjustable support if neces-
sary.
TIPS FOR DENTAL PHOTOGRAPHY
FRONT TEETH
• Use the automatic mode in the basic camera appli-
cation of your smartphone.
• Switch on the LED lights on the left and right side
using the light diffusers if necessary.
• Maintain a distance of 15-20 cm from the patient.
• As the lens moves towards/away from the teeth, the
color on the screen will change as the smartphone
adjusts to the changing light. Take the picture when
the screen shows the color that is closest to what
you can see with the naked eye.
• Try to enlarge or reduce the image on your smart-
phone screen to select the optimum size of image.

• Position the device so that the smile line is parallel
to the horizontal margins of the photograph.
• Position the AF (Auto Focus) point by touching the
phone screen to make the image clearer.
• The shooting can be controlled by the Bluetooth re-
mote control connected to the smartphone.
BACK TEETH
• Use retractors and mirrors if necessary.
• Switch on the central LED light.
• Maintain a distance of 15-20 cm from the patient.
• Try to enlarge or reduce the image on your smart-
phone screen to select the optimum size of image.
• Position the AF (Auto Focus) point by touching the
phone screen to make the image clearer.
• The shooting can be controlled by the Bluetooth re-
mote control connected to the smartphone.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE BLUETOOTH REMOTE
CONTROL
When the on-off switch is pressed, the AB Shutter3
remote will go into pairing mode and the LED indicator
will flash rapidly.
Available devices can be detected by activating the
Bluetooth function on your smartphone. Select the "AB
Shutter3" device from the list and the device will auto-
matically connect in seconds.
Press the large button A if taking photographs using
iOS smartphones, or the small button B for Android
devices.
