Tips: For improved user comfort, wipe the steriliser with a damp tissue before first
use. Wash the handle, pour distilled water into the heater and switch on the sterili-
sation function. After sterilisation, pour out the water and leave the device to dry.
02. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Unplug the unit from the socket and allow it to cool down before cleaning
2. Be careful not to damage the heating surface with sharp metal tools.
3. If limescale accumulates, pour citric acid or vinegar into the water and boil
using the sterilising function.
4. Cleaning: Remove the top cover from the body and wipe the surface of
the unit with a damp, soft cloth. It is recommended to clean the unit every
10 - 15 days.
5. Do not use abrasive cleaning tools to avoid scratching the product. Other-
wise, the protective layer on the hob surface will be damaged, resulting in
oxidation and blackening of the hob surface.
6. Set the unit aside to dry after cleaning. Do not immerse the body in water
for cleaning.
7. It is recommended to pour a mixture of citric acid and vinegar or detergent
into the vessel every two months and leave it for 10 minutes, then rinse it
under running water.
8. For better descaling of the appliance, remove the heater protection SEE
FIG.E.1 and FIG.E.2
9. When cleaning is complete, fit the heater protection back in place. SEE
FIG.E.3
10. You risk damaging the heater if you use sharp tools to clean it.
11. Never use the appliance without the heater protection in place.
