Connect the regulator to the cylinder making sure that the gaskets are in place (See diagram above),
if the gaskets are faded or damaged, or if any of the gaskets are missing, the unit cannot be used until
the gaskets are replaced. The anti-tilt valve must remain in the position in which it is installed at the
factory. Connecting the valve in any other position will result in shutting off the gas supply to the
appliance, thus turning it off.
NOTE!!!
The tilt safety valve is a rollover protection device, so that if the device rolls over, it automatically cuts
off the gas supply to the burner, which extinguishes the flame. Below you can see the GOK tilt safety
valve, which is pre-installed on the hose on the PATIO SLC heater. Never try to uninstall it!
Figure 8: Tilt protection valve installed in the device.
NOTE!
Connecting the appliance to a gas source should only be done when the heater is turned off and the
valve on the cylinder is turned off.
Never connect a gas cylinder to the appliance bypassing the pressure regulator!
NOTE!
It is forbidden to use an open flame during the installation process or connecting cylinders. Failure to
comply with this prohibition may result in fire, explosion and cause property damage, personal injury
and even result in loss of life.
NOTE!
Gas garden heaters are designed to work with 5 kg and 11 kg propane and propane-butane gas cylin-
ders (cylinder sizes may vary depending on the country of destination).
The unit is sold with a complete set of automatic controls, an anti-drip valve, a pressure regulator and
a connection hose. Never use a hose or any other system component other than that recommended
by the manufacturer.
You can purchase GOK valid from the manufacturer, Kratki.pl, or ask your service technician or local
dealer to provide you with information on the type of hose that could replace the original hose.
