DESCRIPTION
1 Relay socket
2 LED (test result)
3 Selection switch (4 PIN / 5 PIN)
4 Switch to start the test
5 Alligator clip for battery minus terminal
6 Alligator clip for battery plus terminal
USE
1. Connect the power supply cable to the 12V vehicle battery.
 Connect the black alligator clip to the negative battery terminal.
 Connect the red alligator clip to the positive battery terminal.
2. The tester is ready for testing when the LED lights red.
3. Check the relay before connecting it to the tester.
 Set the selector switch (3) to "4 PIN" for relays with 4 pins.
 Set the selector switch (3) to "5 PIN" for relays with 5 pins.
4. Plug the relay into a suitable one of the three relay sockets.
5. Press the test button (4) to start the following test steps.
6. The tester checks the pin configuration of the unknown relay.
 The LED lights up red if the unknown relay does not correspond to a standard vehicle relay
or if the relay connection is defective.
7. If the pin configuration is correct, the tester triggers the relay ten times in a row to test the time it
takes to close and open the contacts.
 The LED lights up red when the opening or closing time is exceeded.
8. The tester now checks the consistency of the relay.
 The LED lights up green when the test passes.
 The LED lights up red if there is a fault in the relay.
9. Disconnect the cables from the vehicle battery and remove the relay from the tester.
