6. Electrical work

Remove the piping cover and terminal block cover.

Pass the cylinder unit / outdoor unit connecting cables from the cylinder
unit to the outdoor unit through a pipe sleeve (16 mm diameter).

Secure the cylinder unit / outdoor unit connecting cables in place using
clamp 1.

Secure the pipe sleeve using clamp 2 (2 locations).

Connect the cylinder unit / outdoor unit connecting cables to the outdoor
unit terminal block of the outdoor unit.

After the wire routing is completed, attach the terminal block cover and
piping cover.

When removing:
When attaching:
• Remove the piping cover followed by the terminal block cover, in that order.
• Cylinder unit / outdoor unit connecting cables shall not be lighter than
polychloroprene sheathed flexible cable.
(Design 60245 IEC 57)
• S ecure firmly in place while being careful that no external force is applied
directly to the terminal section.
• At factory shipping, the drain socket is secured to clamp 2, and so carefully
remove the drain socket, and secure the pipe sleeve.
• To prevent the entry of water into the pipe sleeve, wrap
tape around the pipe sleeve end, align the pipe sleeve
end with the alignment mark, and put it inside the
terminal block cover.
• Secure so that the pipe sleeve does not contact the B pipe.
(The B pipe can reach temperatures of 72°C or higher.)
• The terminals have polarity, so be sure to match the terminal number when
connecting the cables.
• Pull each wire one at a time to check that they are not disconnected.
• Attach the terminal block cover followed by the piping cover, in that order.
