It is important to remove any nylon residuals (bag) from the sealing strip using a soft cloth
after each use, paying attention not to damage it. Clean the sealing strip only when it has
cooled down.
•
This unit contains precision components. Therefore, do not submit the appliance to extreme
temperature variations, humidity, bumps, dust and direct sunlight.
•
Do not let the unit fall or be hit. For cleaning, never use chemical or abrasive products.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The device does not work
•
Check if the plug is well inserted into the power supply outlet.
•
Verify whether the warning light is on.
•
The thermal protection may have tripped: let the device cool down for at least 30 minutes
and switch it on again.
The device does not create the complete vacuum in the bag
•
The bag could have been pierced. Try to replace it with a new one.
•
Verify the correct position of the bag within the suction chamber.
•
The sealing strip could have been overheated: this occurs when many sealing procedures
are performed consecutively at very short intervals. Wait a couple of minutes to let the
sealing strip cool down. Between one sealing and the next, we suggest to wait at least 20
seconds.
The bag does not keep the vacuum condition after it has been sealed
•
Check if the bag is not pierced. Protect any pointy edge with pieces of paper towel.
•
Make sure that there are no impurities along the sealing: crumbs, fat, etc. Reopen the bag
and try again to perform the sealing.
The bag melts and is not sealed in the right way
•
Make sure that the bag is clean and well stretched.
