Product usage
Press down on the toasting lever until it clicks into place and the unit begins the toasting
cycle. Place breads that do not fit into the toasting slot (such as a roll) on the toast rack
and turn the browning control knob to level 2 to toast them. You can also use the toasting
rack to keep bread warm whilst other slices of bread are being toasted
NOTE:
If the toaster is not plugged in and turned on at the mains socket, the toasting
lever will not engage.

Removing jammed toast

Should bread get stuck in the toaster, press

Wait for the toaster to cool completely.

Carefully remove the bread from the toaster, whilst taking care to not damage the heating
elements.

Never insert conductive/metal or sharp objects (such as forks or knives) into the
toaster as this may cause an electric shock, fire or damage to the heating elements.
NOTE:
•
If the toaster starts to smoke, immediately cancel toasting and remove the
toast. If the toast is not the source of the smoke, clean the toaster as detailed
in the Cleaning and maintenance section and then try toasting again. If the
toaster continues to smoke, take it your nearest service centre for repair.

The ideal browning level depends on the type of bread, thickness of the slices
and the toasting time.

Use a lower setting when toasting a single slice of bread.
