Introduction
The JetNet 5628G/5828G is a 19-inch 1U High Industrial 24+4G Modular Managed Ethernet
Switch, equipped with 3 slots for maximum 24 10/100 Base-TX Ports or 18 100Base-
FX Fiber interfaces ports plus 4 Gigabit RJ45 / MINI GBIC combo ports. The JetNet
5628G/5828G, a special design for substation automation and industrial control room, is
also supports Jumbo Frame forwarding of up to 9.2Kbytes. With this, the transmission of
and security requirements in power substations and control rooms, the JetNet 5628G/5828G
supports various software features. The VLAN, MSR, RSTP, QoS, IGMP, ACL, 802.1x, DHCP
Option 82, SNMP, LLDP, etc. complete the demand and greatly satisfy technicians' requests.
The JetNet 5828G has the same hardware design as JetNet 5628G, however in addition, the
JetNet 5828G supports Layer 3 switching/routing features. The JetNet 5628G-R/5828G-R
is an extended product line designed with Ethernet ports on the rear panel. All the Fast
Ethernet modules are accepted by the JetNet 5628G/5828G series.
