ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Remove all cord wraps and uncoil the cables prior to using the battery charger.
Control Panel
Charge Rate Selector Switch
Use the Charge Rate Selector Switch to select the charge rate you require.
6A/6V – For charging 6V batteries; Manually charge without overcharge protection;
2A/12V – For charging 12V automotive, marine and deep-cycle batteries with 2AMP charging
rate. Automatically charge with overcharge protection.
6A/12V –For charging 12V automotive, marine and deep-cycle batteries with 6AMP charging rate.
Automatically charge with overcharge protection.
Ammeter
The Ammeter indicates the amount of current, measured in amps, that is being drawn by the
battery. As a battery takes on a charge, it draws less current from the charger. Correspondingly,
the meter will show less current being drawn by the battery. When the current stops decreasing,
the battery is charged.
LED Indicators
Power On – When lit, this LED indicates that there is AC power supplied to the battery charger.
Protective Functions
Overcharge Protection: when charging 12V batteries at 2A or 6A charge rate, the charger will turn
on the overcharge protection function to protect the battery from damage of overcharge. (NOTE:
it's not protected when charging 6V batteries)
Reverse Polarity Protection: when reverse polarity connection with the battery, the charger will be
protected from damage with built-in circuit design.
Over Current and Over Heat Protection: when charging dead batteries, this function will be
activated to protect the charger from damage.
