Positioning of the drain pump

Assembling Instructions
Remove the existing drain plug and shorten
it by 40mm (fig. A). Turn the shell of the drain
pump (fig. C) as shown in (fig. D) and fix the
bracket (fig. B) by using one of the three
screws of the pump shell. Fix the complete
group of parts (including the suction sleeve
and the drain hose) to the basement of the
machine by using the screws and the nuts
supplied in the kit (fig. E).
Connect the pump to the couple of wires n8
and n13 from the bundle of wires in the
machine (fig. F); if the wires are not existing,
connect the blue wire to the blue wire of the
solenoid valve and the brown wire to the
output "FA1" of the electronic board.
IMPORTANT:
The drain hose must be strictly
fixed to the rear panel of the
machine at the minimum height
of 60cm from the floor.

Operation
The drain pump works automatically during all the rinsing phase and for
the following 20 seconds, in order to drain all the excess water over the level
of the overflow tube.
For the manual draining, proceed as following: with machine switched on
and door open, remove the overflow tube, then press and hold the START
button until the LC2 LED cycle led and the CHECK LED will flash
simultaneously.
By pressing the START button or the ON/OFF button, it is possible to
interrupt the draining phase.
