PLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Positioning the blanket
The under-blanket can only be used as an un-
der-blanket, over the occupant of the bed.
1.Make up the bed as normal using a top and
bottom sheet.
2. Spread the under-blanket over the top sheet
ensuring it is lying flat without any creases.
3. The connecting plug must be on the upper
surface at the foot of the bed.
4. Do not fold or tuck in any of the wired areas, the
connector or the lead to the control as this could
result in functioning the blanket at a temperature
above the safety cut out system temperature.
5. Additional bedcovers can be placed over the
under-blanket in order to avoid loss of heat.

The under-blanket must be inserted carefully
inside the duvet cover with the blanket connector
plug at the open end of the cover, which should
be at the foot of the bed.
The under-blanket must be kept flat within the
duvet cover at all times. If the under-blanket does
not fit into the duvet cover without being folded,
then the duvet cover is too small and cannot be
used with the under-blanket.

Other than the top sheet, no other additional bedding
should be placed between the occupant and the du-
vet cover as this will act as an insulant from the heat
provided by the electric blanket.
PERIODIC CHECKS
When the appliance is not used, store it in a dry place
and avoid heavy objects resting on it. Prevent folds
from forming. Examine frequently the device and the
flexible cable to verify that they do not show signs
of wear or deterioration. Should these signs or mal-
functions appear, take the device to any authorized
technical assistance service.
