Fingerprint Reader

Install the driver and enroll your fin-
gerprints as instructed below before
use.
Fingerprint Reader Driver
Installation
1. Click Option Drivers (button).
2. Click 2.Install Fingerprint Driver
> Yes.
BioExcess
3. Click Next > Finish to restart the
computer.
Protector Suite QL
4. Click Software Installation.
5. Click Next > Next > Next.
6. Click Finish > Yes to restart the
computer.
7. After installing the driver you will
need to install Microsoft.net
Frame-work (V3.5 or higher)
before running the Protector Suite
application. You can go to the
Microsoft website, search for the
file, download it and then install it.

User Enrollment

Follow the instructions below:
BioExcess
1. Double click the icon (BioExcess) on
the Start screen/on the Apps screen.
2. Click Next when the Initial Wizard
appears.
3. Swipe a finger to practice enrollment
(click Next to skip this step).
4. Enter your Windows log on password,
and then click Next.
5. Click on the fingerprint diagram to select
any finger to enroll.
6. Swipe the finger until the finger is
enrolled and then repeat for other
fingers.
7. Click Next to continue once you have
enrolled a number of fingerprints.
8. Click Finish when the Initialization
Successful message appears (if you
have selected Launch Control Center
then it will be run on exiting the wizard).
Protector Suite QL
1. Double click the icon (Protector Suite
QL) on the Start screen/on the Apps
screen.
2. On the first run of the program you will
be asked to click the Accept button to
accept the license.
3. If you have not set a Windows
password you will be prompted to do so
(note: If you have not set a password
Protector Suite QL cannot secure
access to your computer).
4. Click Submit when you have entered
password.
5. You will then be prompted to enroll your
fingerprints (you can click Tutorial to get
help with fingerprint enrollment at any
time).
6. Click the button above any of the fingers
to begin the enrollment process for that
finger.
7. Swipe the finger until the progress bar
reaches 100% to enroll that finger.
8. Repeat the process for all the fingers
you wish to enroll.
9. Close the fingerprint status window.
10. You can also run the Tutorial, or
Product Tour (to run the product tour
video) to get more information.
11. Right-click the taskbar icon
Control Center to allow you to Edit
Fingerprints, register Applications,
and access the Help menu etc.
12. If you swipe your finger over the reader
at any time you can access the
Biomenu.
