10" Touch Screen video intercom monitor - IP Range
1) OVERVIEW
TS-SMART10ALS and TS-SMART10ANS are displays featuring a 10"LCD touch screen with the following
functions:
• audio-video indoor station for the AVE V44 SMART video intercom system;
• Graphic touch screen for the management of the home automation system (in combination with a
supervisor equipped with a web server);
• Graphic touch screen for the management of the SMART 44 system (in combination with a
supervisor equipped with a web server);
• Touch screen for the management of the anti-intrusion system with control units of the AF927 range;
• External IP camera viewer;
• Supervisor compatible with the KNX protocol;
The device is supplied with active "SMART HOME", "ANTI-THEFT" and "VIDEO INTERCOM" functions;
when configuring the system, we recommend deactivating any unnecessary functions by accessing the
"Settings/Advanced parameters/Main page management" menu.
The graphical user interface allows managing various functions in a simple and user-friendly manner:
• Management of lights, dimmers, blinds, temperature control, etc... belonging to the AVE Domina
Plus home automation system (in combination with a device with integrated web-server);
• Remote panel for the anti-intrusion control unit from the AF927 range (on/off/partial setting/reset of
alarms);
• IP camera monitoring via RSTP protocol (contact the toll-free number 800 015 072 for compatible
camera models);
• Intercom calls within the same apartment or between different apartments;
• Acquisition of the image from the outdoor station upon receipt of a call;
• Screensaver with digital frame;
• Video intercom system control
It is a monobloc device for installation on the 3-module box using the special fixing bracket supplied.
Compatible with the standard distances of the three-module boxes of the horizontal wall-installation
home series.
The device can be powered by a 24V power supply, using the connector supplied with the product, or

by a 48V PoE switch.

The device is equipped with wireless LAN connection and Wi-Fi:
• The wired connection must be used to connect the indoor station with the video intercom outdoor
station.
The wired connection can be used to interface the device with the data network to which the home
automation web server or the anti-intrusion control units are connected only if the TS-SMART10xx device
is used for managing the home automation and/or anti-intrusion system (and there is no connection to
the external video intercom station on the system)
• The Wi-Fi connection must be used to interface the device with the data network to which the home
automation web server or the intrusion control unit are connected.
The TS-SMART10xx touch screens are equipped with an RGB LED bar whose colour can be set directly by
the customer from the "Display" menu. When an alarm comes from an AF927 anti-intrusion control panel,
the same LED bar is red (an audible alarm signal is emitted at the same time).

We recommend arranging an internet connection to allow remote support service in case of need and a
dedicated power supply line (UPS).
We also recommend periodically checking for software updates in order to enjoy the best performance
and ensure proper operation. Updates are available via the technical support network

4) INSTALLATION
Install the product approximately 1.5m from the ground (see the figure
below); mount the fixing plate (supplied) on a 3-module box installed
horizontally.
Hook the touch screen to the wall mounting bracket and slide it slightly
to the right to secure it. The fixing bracket is equipped with magnets to
facilitate the operation.
When installing the product, keep in mind the following indications:
Do not block or obstruct the vents and openings in the product.
Avoid installation in places subject to sudden changes in temperature and
humidity and in places with a lot of dust.
In addition, keep the product away from direct sunlight, from sources of
bright light (which compromise the good visibility of the LCD display) or
from heat sources.

5) DISPLAY
The meaning of the icons in the drop-down menu of the device - from which you can access the various
configuration parameters - is illustrated here below:
a) Silencing: button for silencing the ringtone of the device.
b) Wi-Fi: access to the ON/OFF/Wi-Fi configuration menu of the device.
c) Display: access to the parameter configuration menu of the display. From this menu it is
possible to:
• Set the brightness of the screen;
• Choose the screen saver image or upload an image from an SD card (not supplied with the
product);
• Set the time after which the screensaver is activated;
• Set the device display switch-off time;
• Activate the lock screen with password function. Note: the parameter enables the function
"Lock screen" in the drop-down menu of the home page (default password 666666).
d) Cleaning: button to inhibit the touch screen of the device. The touch screen becomes active again
after 30 seconds.
e) Screen lock: button for activating the screen lock.
f) Restart: button to restart the device
g) Settings: button for accessing the product settings menu.

6) CONFIGURATION
The device is supplied pre-programmed for installation within a single-button system; changes can be
made by accessing the "Settings/Advanced Parameters" menu (default password 222222) or by using
the appropriate software available from the product page on the website www.ave.it. (from which the
complete installation guide is available for downloading).

7) OUTSIDE DOOR BELL BUTTON
The product connector features the Z8 input for the
connection of the n.o. button of the outside door bell: the
connection can be made using a 2x0.50 mm2 cable (we
recommend using ducts separated from the power and
sections not exceeding 20 m).
To date, the other inputs of the connector are not in use.
