5.0 Installation Requirements

1. LOCATION: Select a location for the SUNfilm that is in direct sun. If the unit is
placed in a shaded area it may greatly reduce power output.
2. MOUNTING – If mounting the SUNfilm, use any flat surface. Secure to the
selected location using fasteners or using self-adhesive Velcro strips (not
provided). Do not drill or alter the frame in any way, doing so will void the warranty.
3. CONNECTION – see section 4.1 for connection options.
4. IMPORTANT – Pulling the SUNfilm power cable may cause undo stress on the
junction box. The power cable should never support the weight of the module.
