Before operating your Oral irrigator, please read
these instructions and save this manual for future
reference.
IMPORTANT
• The appliance must be mounted in a
way that it cannot fall into water or
drop to the floor. The plug should
always be accessible.
• Periodically check the entire product/
cord for damage. A damaged or non-
functioning unit should no longer be
used. If the product/ cord is
damaged, take it to an Oral-B Service
Centre. Do not modify or repair the
product. This may cause fire, electric
shock or injury. Do not disassemble
the product.
• Usage by children under age 8 is not
recommended. Irrigators can be
used by children and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge, if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved.
• Cleaning and maintenance shall not
be performed by children.
• Children shall not play with the
appliance.
• Oral irrigators shall be used only with
liquids defined in the manufacturer's
instructions.
• Do not use iodine, saline (salt
solution), or water insoluble
concentrated essential oils in the
appliance. Use of these can reduce
product performance and will shorten
the life of the product. Use of these
products may void warranty.
• Use this product only for its intended
use as described in this manual. Do
not use attachments which are not
recommended by the manufacturer.

WARNING
• Do not place the appliance in water or liquid or
store where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or
sink. Do not reach for it when fallen into water.
Unplug immediately.
• When unplugging, always pull the power plug
instead of the cord. Do not touch the power plug
with wet hands. This can cause an electric
shock.
• If you are undergoing treatment for any oral care
condition, consult your dental professional prior
to use.
• This appliance is a personal care device and is
not intended for use on multiple patients in a
dental practice or institution.
• Small parts may come off, keep out of reach of
children.
• Do not direct water under the tongue, into the
ear, nose or other delicate areas. This product is
capable of producing pressures that may cause
serious damage in these areas.
• Do not direct water into the nose or ear. The
potentially deadly amoeba, Naegleria fowleri,
may be present in some tap water or
unchlorinated well water and may be fatal if
directed into these areas.
To avoid nozzle breakage which may generate a
small parts choking hazard or damage teeth:
• Prior to each use, ensure the nozzle fits well.
Discontinue use of the Oral irrigator, if nozzle no
longer fits properly. Never use without a nozzle.
• If the Oral irrigator is dropped, the nozzle should
be replaced before the next use even if no
damage is visible.
• Replace nozzle every 3 months or sooner if
nozzle becomes worn.
• Clean nozzle properly after each use (see
«Cleaning recommendations» paragraph).
Proper cleaning ensures the safe use and
functional life of the Oral irrigator.
