6.1 - ROUTINE AND PLANNED MAINTENANCE
6.1.a- In general

The routine and planned maintenance works should
be performed when the machine is stopped and the
main switch is in position "
The routine maintenance works have been divided in
two types:
• ROUTINE MAINTENANCE:
It includes all the maintenance works to be made on
the machine everyday.
• PLANNED MAINTENANCE:
It includes all the maintenance works to be made
according to a maintenance plan in order to ensure a
correct working of the machine.
6.1.b - Routine maintenance
6.1.b.a - Machine cleaning
• The outer part of the machine shall be cleaned by
utilizing a water-soaked cloth.
• For machines equipped with head (1), lift it as indicated
in the relative section
• Clean the container (2) by washing it with water and
utilizing detergents or other degreasing, non-chemical
products being suitable for food equipment.
• Clean the spiral element (3) by utilizing a water-soaked
sponge.
• Dry the various components, and for machines equip-
ped with head, lower it.
