operAtIon - Before use for the first time
1. Remove the packaging.
2. C lean all the accessories to remove any residues that may be left from the manufacturing process (see
"Cleaning and maintenance").
3. P ut the plug into the wall socket and allow the grill to heat up for 10 minutes. This will remove any
packaging odor from the appliance.
note T he appliance may emit a little smoke and a characteristic smell when you switch it on for the first
time. This is normal and will stop on its own. Make sure there is sufficient ventilation.
operAtIon - preparations
1. Place the grill on a level, stable and heat-resistant surface.
2. Place the drip tray (10) under the grill's drainage (8).
3. Close the lid.
4. P ut the plug in the wall socket. The "Power" and "Ready"
indicator lights will illuminate.
5. T urn the themperature control dial to the required setting.
The required temperature has been reached once the
"Ready" indicator light exstinguishes.
