4 Power Supply
For power supply, two 1 5 V batteries of size AA
are required
•
Only insert two batteries of the same type and
always replace both of them
•
If the wireless microphone is not in use for a
longer period of time, always remove the bat-
teries to prevent damage due to battery leakage
1) Remove the sleeve (3)
2) Open the battery holder (7) (pull hard so that
it disengages)
3) Insert the batteries into the battery compart-
ment (6) Make sure that the polarity of the
batteries is correct (
in the compartment)
4) Close the holder, making sure that it engages;
then screw on the sleeve
Note: When the switch MUTE (2) is in the upper position,
the wireless microphone will be switched on as soon as
batteries are inserted If this is not desired, move the
switch to the lower position before inserting the bat-
teries When the wireless microphone is then switched
on by means of the button
see chapter 5)
Instead of non-rechargeable batteries, two re-
chargeable NiMH batteries of size AA can be in-
serted
Never put batteries in the household
waste Always dispose of the batteries
in accordance with local regulations
5 Switching on /off, Muting
To switch on the wireless microphone, briefly press
the button
(4) or move the switch MUTE
from the lower to the upper position The LED (1)
behind the cover will indicate the status of the
batteries:
green = batteries are sufficiently charged
red
= batteries are almost discharged
To mute the wireless microphone, move the switch
MUTE
to the lower position The LED will start
flashing in green (or, when the batteries are almost
discharged, alternately in red and green) To un-
mute the wireless microphone, move the switch to
the upper position
To switch off the wireless microphone, keep the
button
pressed until the LED extinguishes

6 Setting the Wireless Microphone via
the Function
The settings (radio frequency, audio sensitivity, au-
tomatic switch-off, transmission power) are made
on the receiver and are then, triggered by the press
of the button
microphone via ultrasound The data sent will be
received via the ultrasonic sensor (5) of the wireless
microphone Once the data have been successfully
transferred, the LED (1) on the wireless microphone
will light continuously in blue for a few seconds
The LED will start flashing in blue when an error
has occurred during data reception

of the receiver
