DANGER!
Risk of injury due to power supply!
► Before intervening in the system, switch off the power supply and secure it against being switched on again!
► Observe the applicable accident prevention and safety regulations for electrical devices!
WARNING!
Risk of injury and material damage if not properly installed!
► Installation may only be carried out by authorized specialist personnel.
► The instructions regarding the pin assignments and wiring are to be followed exactly.
WARNING!
Risk of injury due to unintentional switching on of the system and uncontrolled restart!
► Secure the system against unintentional operation.
► After installation, make sure the system is restarted under controlled conditions.
NOTE!
Use of the 4 - 20 mA setpoint value input
If, in a series connection of several devices of the SPC positioner type, the electrical supply to one device in this series connection
fails, the input of the failed device becomes highly resistive. This causes the 4 - 20 mA standard signal to drop out. In this case, please
contact GF Piping Systems Customer Service directly.
