2. Press and hold the button for approx. 5 s to start the teach function until the red status LED flashes.
3. When the red status LED starts flashing, release the button again within the next 5 s.
Sequence description of the teach function:
The status LED flashes red when the teach function is running.
•
The lower end position is read in.
•
The pilot valve switches.
•
The actuator moves automatically to the upper end position.
•
The upper end position is read in.
•
The pilot valve is switched off.
•
The actuator moves to the lower end position again.
•
To determine the opening time and closing time, the actuator moves again to the upper and lower end positions.
•
When the red status LED stops flashing, the teach function is finished.
•
The end positions of the valve are determined and stored.
•
Teach procedure completed.
•
4. Check the correct position of the gasket (housing jacket).
5. After adjustment, screw the housing jacket of the type SPC Lite positioner back on.
NOTE!
Breakage of the pneumatic connecting pieces due to rotational effect.
► When unscrewing and screwing in the housing jacket, do not hold against the actuator of the valve, but against the basic housing.
CAUTION!
Damage or functional failure due to ingress of dirt and moisture.
► To comply with protection rating IP65/IP67, screw the housing jacket in as far as it will go.
