Introduction
To get the most out of your new bike holder,
please read through these instructions
before use. We also recommend that you
save the instructions in case you need to
refer to them at a later date.

Incorrect assembly, � tting or use of the
bike holder may be extremely hazardous in
traffi c!
Be aware of the relevant laws and
regulations with regard to driving with bike
holders.
This bike holder is only intended for bikes
with crossbars. If you intend to transport
ladies' bikes, mountain bikes, etc., you can
purchase a special adapter for the bike that
gives it a crossbar.

Powder-coated iron
Remove any extra equipment, such as
bike seats, baskets and rain covers, before
hanging the bike on the bike holder so that
they cannot fall off while driving.
The bike's parts, including handlebars,
wheels and pedals, must be properly
secured so that they cannot move or come
into contact with the car's bodywork once
the bike is suspended on the bike holder.
Please ensure that the bike's parts do not
obstruct the car's exhaust pipe, as the heat
from the exhaust may damage the bike.
Before driving, check that the bikes are
properly secured to the bike holder. Check
regularly when driving on long trips.
Never exceed the maximum permitted ball
pressure on the towbar (see the vehicle's
manual).
If the car has an electric rear hatch, this
function must not be used when the bike
holder is � tted. The rear hatch should only
be opened manually to avoid the risk of
damage.
Please be aware that the car will take up
more space at the rear and possibly also to
the sides once the bike holder is � tted. Pay
particular attention to this when you are
reversing and parking.
The bike holder must not be modi� ed in
any way!
