Cleaning & Maintenance
Evaporator cleaning
WARNING! Do not touch the evaporator with your hand,
as this may cause burns.
•
If necessary, approximately once every 3 months, remove lint
from the evaporator with a hoover fitted with a dusting brush.
•
Clean the evaporator without exerting pressure. Otherwise, it
may be damaged. The dryer will not dry if the cooling fins are
damaged or bent.
Cleaning the base filter
1. Open the lid.
2. Release the three locking levers and grasp the filter handle.
3. Remove the filter from the base and clean it. If there is too much lint on
the filter, clean it with water. Dry the filter thoroughly before installing it.
4. Clean the rubber gasket on both the filter and the handle.
5. Replace the filter.
6. Lock the three locking levers and make sure they are in the correct loc-
king position.
7. Close the lid until a click is heard.
Note:
- Accumulated lint in the filter can obstruct air circulation. Failure to clean
the filter regularly will increase drying time and energy consumption.
- Unplug the power cord before cleaning the filter.
- Do not operate the dryer without the filter!
- Clean the filter at the base after every fifth cycle to prevent lint build-up
inside the dryer.
