USING YOUR CHARGER
LI-ION BATTERY
Lithium-ion batteries deliver uninterrupted power throughout their operating life. The power of your 20V
devices will not diminish during use, even though the battery charge will drop.
However, the battery will stop powering your device when the battery is discharged.
It will then be necessary to recharge the battery. It is not necessary to completely discharge the battery
before recharging it, this is the advantage of Li-Ion batteries.
CHARGING BATTERY
It is imperative to use a suitable battery, recommended by VOLTR, compatible with your charger.
The battery is delivered with a minimum charge to avoid any problem during transport.
Before anything else, it is imperative to fully charge it first. If the battery does not charge, you should contact
your Voltr / Alice's Garden service centre upon receipt, and we will give you instructions for replacement if
necessary.
If everything has been checked, you can connect the charger to the mains.
Insert the battery into the charger and check that it is locked in place.
The battery may feel warm to the touch during charging. This is normal.
Do not place the charger and battery in places that are too hot or too cold.
They will work much better in a room with a suitable ambient temperature (at home).
Once the battery is charged, remove the plug and you can disconnect the battery.
