Closing the shade
The shade must be closed in the event of
incoming wind, rain or snow. Damages
occurring as a result of a failure to do so
are not covered by the warranty.

and pull the knob 2 out slightly (see
figure E).
2. Gently push the slide handle 1 up. Do
not turn the handle! (See figure F.)
3. Attach the hook and loop strip sup-
plied in order to protect the sun
shade against gusts of wind.
Slip over a protective sleeve to pro-
tect it against dirt and bleaching (see
figure G).
Cleaning the cover
The cover has a stain-resistant impreg-
nation. You should ideally use a soft
brush and a small amount of soapy solu-
tion for cleaning.
The fabric is suitable for hand wash at
30 °C. Do not use a tumble-dryer.
Do not machine wash, dry clean, bleach
or iron.
Care + storage
Clean the shade mast regularly to ensure
that the mobile parts slide properly. If
necessary spray with a silicon or Teflon
lubricant spray.
Check all load-bearing parts such as
braces, screws etc. regularly.
During winter, disassemble the sun
shade in a completely dry state and store
it in a dry, well-ventilated area.
At the start of the season ensure that all
components and fixings are secure. If
you are unsure, do not use the product.
