4. OPERATION
HOW TO CHARGE THE BATTERY PACK
NOTICE: Lithium-ion battery pack is shipped partially charged. Before using, fully charge
the battery pack.
1) Align the battery pack with the mounting slots of the charger, slide the battery pack down onto
the charger.
2) Plug the charger into an appropriate outlet. The green indicator flashes to indicate the charging
process has started.
3) When charging is completed, the green indicator stops flashing and remains on. The battery pack
is now fully charged, unplug the charger and remove the battery pack.
Note: If plug the charger into an appropriate outlet without connected battery, the red indicator
will be lighted. When charging, it is important to provide adequate ventilation to avoid this battery
pack becomes damaged. The available temperature of the charger is between +4°C and 24°C during
operation.
WARNING: When battery charge runs out after continuously use or exposure to direct sunlight or
heat, allow time for the tool to cool down before re-charging to achieve the full charge.

HOW TO REMOVE THE BATTERY PACK FROM THE CHARGER
Disconnect the power supply from the charger. Remove battery pack from the charger.
CHARGING A COLD OR HOT BATTERY PACK
If the battery pack is out of the normal temperature range, one red light and one green light of the
charger will flash in turn during the operation. When the battery pack cools down to approximately
45°C or warms to more than 5°C, the charger will automatically begin charging and the two lights
will be normally.
