2.2 Operating the device safely
WARNING!

 Eye damage may result from directly viewing the light produced
by these lamps. To reduce the risk of exposure to UV radiation,
take UV-radiation protective measures for personnel during ser-
vicing.
CAUTION!

 Do not use the device with wet hands.
 If the device falls into water, unplug it immediately. Do not reach
into the water.
Do not attempt to use the device again.
 Risk of exposure to excessive ultraviolet (UV) radiation.
Do not operate without complete lamp enclosure in place.
NOTICE!
A
 Only use the device indoors, never outside.
 Never expose the device to moisture.
 Make sure that none of the vents are blocked. If necessary,
clean the vents before you use the device.
 Do not place the device in areas where uncured siliconised
sealers are used. The vapours they give off inhibit the photo-
catalytic capability.
 Only use spare parts that are approved by the manufacturer.
Failure to do this will invalidate the guarantee.
 The health aspects associated with the use of this product and
its ability to aid in disinfection of environmental air have not
been investigated by UL.
 The effectiveness of this product has been tested and proven by
Environmental Diagnostics Laboratory, an AIHA accredited and
SBA certified laboratory.
