INSTRUCTION
1. Always examine appliance, cord and plug for damage before use.
2. FOODIE hand blender, like other electrical appliances, should be used
with caution to avoid personal injury, fire damage or damage to the
appliance. Please read the instructions carefully before use.
3. Before first use, clean the appliance (view cleaning instructions)
4. Fit the blender shaft (B) to the motor unit (A). Turn clockwise to lock.
5. NOTICE: To avoid splashing always keep the blender shaft in the ingredients and
always switch off the hand blender before lifting the blender shaft from the bowl.
6. Hold the bowl or beaker steady, push the button (C) and the hand
blender will start. Select a low speed for slower blending and to reduce
splashing; select a high speed (D) for faster blending. You can also
blend food directly in a cooking pot or a saucepan as you like.
7. Do not let liquid get above the joint between the motor unit (A) and blender shaft (B).
8. If your blender shaft gets blocked, unplug before clearing.
9. With heavy mixtures, don't use your hand blender for longer than 30 seconds. Under
normal use, don't run the appliance more than 4 minutes at a time as it will overheat.
SAFETY
1. Read the instruction manual carefully before use, and save it for future use.
2. Plug the appliance to a household outlet of 220–240 V only,
and use the appliance only for the intended use.
3. Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left
unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
4. The motor unit (A) must not be immersed into water or other liquids.
5. Appliance can be used bypersons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
6. Children shall not play with the appliance. Children are not always able to
understand potential risks. Teach children a responsible handling of electrical
appliances. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children.
