3. Deactivate the Line Trace mode by turning the navigation dial to Line Trace
press the navigation dial and select Off, and press.
2.3.9 Sonde
Sonde – activates the Sonde transmitter attached at the end of the Pipeline Inspection
Reel termination spring to locate the approximate position of the Sonde in the pipe. The
choice of the Sonde frequency was selected during setup and can be changed by going
to Settings, and then Sonde Frequency. The choices of Sonde frequencies to use are
33kHz, 512Hz or 640Hz.
33kHz – is useable in non-metallic pipes.
512Hz – is mostly used in North America and is useable in both metallic and non-metallic
pipes.
640Hz – is mostly used in Europe and is useable in both metallic and non-metallic pipes.
