CARTRIDGE REPLACEMENT
- Turn off the water supply to the faucet .
- Tip the handle (1) back to expose the set screw (2). Remove the set screw cap (6) and loosen the
set screw (2) with the hex key and remove the handle (1).
- Gently unscrew the decorative cap (3) and retaining nut (4).
- Pull the cartridge (5) out of the faucet body (6) and replace it with a new ceramic cartridge. Ensure
new cartridge is seated properly with the locating pins in appropriate place .
- Secure the cartridge in place using the retaining nut (4).
- Gently tighten the retaining nut (4) using a wrench. Do not overtighten.
- Reinstall the decorative cap (3). Slide the handle (1) back onto the cartridge and make sure
it rotates freely. Secure the handle (1) in place using the set screw (2). Reinstall the set
screw cap (6).
- Turn the water supply to the faucet back on .
- Operate the faucet to make sure everything works correctly and check for leaks .
