Hint for improved use
The following hints will optimize the performance of the under-bench air
conditioner:
• Improve the heat insulation of your vehicle by sealing gaps and hanging reflective
blinds or curtains on your windows.
• If the vehicle has been subjected to direct sunlight for a long time: Operate the
under-bench air conditioner in the "Circulating air" (
open for a while before switching on the "Cooling" (
• Avoid opening doors and windows as far as possible in the "Cooling" (

• Select an appropriate temperature and blower speed.
• Align the air nozzles sensibly.
• Ensure the air nozzles and intake grille are not covered by cloths, paper or other
objects.
• Clean the air filter periodically.

Switching the under-bench air conditioner on and off

NOTE
• When the under-bench air conditioner is switched on, the device
begins to condition the air to the values that were set most recently.
• Use the remote control to switch the under-bench air conditioner to
and from stand-by mode. Press the
• Operate the under-bench by remote control and via LIN bus. If you
use LIN bus control the receiver is not required.
• Do not use the under-bench air conditioner if the vehicle is tilted
more than 10°.
When you switch on the under-bench air conditioner, the device waits a few minutes
before operating the compressor.
