When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions are required to always be
followed, including the following:

1. Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately from
receptacle.
2. Do not use while bathing or in a shower.
3. Do not place or store appliance where it is able to fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
4. Except when charging, always unplug this appliance from the electrical outlet
immediately after using.
5. Unplug this appliance before cleaning.
WARNING –
To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, or injury to
persons:
1. An appliance shall never be left unattended when plugged in.
2. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
3. Use this appliance only for its intended use as describe in this manual. Do not use
attachments not specified by the manufacturer.
4. Never operate this appliance when it has a damaged cord or plug, when it is not
working properly, after it has been dropped or damaged, or after it has been dropped
into water. Return the appliance to a service center for examination and repair.
5. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.

6. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, and similar objects.
7. Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
8. Do not use outdoors or operate while aerosol (spray) products are being used.
9. Do not use this appliance with a damaged or broken comb, as it has the potential
to result in facial injury.
10. Always attach plug to appliance first, then to outlet. To disconnect, turn all controls
to off position (e.g. "0") then remove plug from outlet.
11. Keep the appliance cord away from heated surfaces.
12. Make sure the switch is in the OFF position when the clipper is not operating.
13. Do not crush, heat above 212°F (100°C) or incinerate the appliance due to risk of
fire, explosion or burns.
14. Plug charging stand into outlet to charge batteries. To disconnect, first remove
batteries from charging stand, then unplug from outlet.
15. Use of a charging stand not sold by BaBylissPRO may result in risk of fire, electric
shock, or injury to person.
16. Do not disassemble charging stand. Incorrect reassembly may result in a risk of
electric shock or fire. When repair is required, send or take it to a BaBylissPRO
Authorized Service Center.
17. The batteries for this clipper are designed to provide maximum trouble-free life.
However, like all batteries, they will eventually wear out. Do not attempt to replace
the batteries. When replacement is required, contact a BaBylissPRO Authorized
Service Center.
18. Batteries can be harmful to the environment if disposed of improperly. Many
communities offer recycling or battery collection. Contact your local government
about disposal practices in your area.
19. WARNING: Never touch both terminals on clipper with metal objects and/or body
parts, as short circuit may result. Keep away from children. Failure to comply with
these warnings could result in fire or serious injury.
20. This clipper is intended for trimming purposes only.
21. During use, do not place or leave the appliance where it is expected to be: A) subject
to damage by an animal or B) exposed to the weather.
