KEYBOARD DESCRIPTION
The keyboard allows the user to input alphanumerical information into
the instrument. The following table describes the various key functions.

3. INSTALLATION
Place the analyser on a flat surface near a power source.
Do not expose the device into direct sunlight.
Avoid installing the instrument in excessively damp, warm or dusty areas.
Check that the voltage of the analyser, as shown on the label on the rear
panel, is the same as that of the mains electricity supply.
Connect the power cable to the socket at the back of the analyser. Then,
plug the other end into the mains electricity supply. Ensure that the device
is correctly earthed.
To replace the fuse, unplug the mains cable from the analyser. Pull-out
the fuse holder. Replace with a new fuse of the same rating as indicated
on the specifications label.
4. OPERATION
Sample analysis:
• Samples must be placed in a:
Rectangular 10mm cell. OR
Polypropylene/glass Ø12-16mm tube.
• Insert the sample in the cell holder.
• Select the desired wavelength filter.
• Select on the main menu the type of result required.
On starting the analyser, ABSORBANCE appears from the main menu.
