1. Warnings and Safety Precautions
Installation of the product must be carried out by qualified personnel in accordance with local safety laws
and regulations and in compliance with Ministerial Decree 37/08 (Ministerial Decree January 22, 2008 No.
37) and subsequent updates. The product must be used in full compliance with the instructions for use con-
tained in this manual.
The product is Class II, according to EN 62368-1:2014, and for this reason it must never be connected to the
protective earth of the power supply network (PE - Protective Earthing).
Installation Warnings
- Use only the supplied power cord, installing the product so that the plug is easily accessible.
- The product should not be exposed to dripping or splashing water and should therefore be installed in a dry
environment, inside buildings.
- Moisture and drops of condensation could damage the product. In case of condensation, wait until the
product is completely dry before using it.
- Do not install the product on or near heat sources or in dusty places or where it may come in contact with
corrosive substances.
- Keep any potential ignition sources away from the installation of the product to avoid and prevent fire of
some parts or components of the product.
- In the case of wall mounting, use expansion anchors appropriate to the characteristics of the mounting
substrate.
- Leave sufficient space around the product to ensure adequate ventilation; excessive temperature and/or
excessive heating may impair the product's operation and life.
- Never look into the product's optical connectors. Laser radiation is not visible to the naked eye and therefo-
re long-term damage cannot be prevented.
- When working with the optical connectors of the partition, always check that the lasers of any optical tran-
smitters connected to it, are turned off.
- In accordance with the European Directive 2014/30/EU, the product must be installed using devices, cables
and accessories to comply with the requirements imposed by this directive for fixed installations.
- CAUTION: To avoid injury, this equipment must be secured to the floor/ the wall according to the installation
instructions
IMPORTANT:
Only trained and authorized personnel may service the product. In the event of a fault, do not attempt to
repair it, otherwise the warranty will be void.
Never remove the power supply cover, hazardous voltage parts may be accessible when opening the casing.
CAUTION: Invisible laser radiation. Do not observe directly. CLASS 1M laser product.
