IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT UV LAMP
Ultraviolet light devices have been used for successful disinfetion for air and surface in many industries, more
specifically the healthcare industry. It is commonly known that ultraviolet light exposure may shorten the lifespan
of plastics. The amount of ultraviolet light exposure in our product will not breakdown the plastic significantly
or cause any harmful chemical changes in the plastic when using as directed. However, there are many types
of plastic out there that might not be intended for use with our sterilizer. As we have no control on all object's
material and durability, you should always contact the object's manufacturer for advice before using it with this
appliance. By using this product, you have agreed to use this appliance at your own risk and discretion.
Tips: Under typical usage and daily washing process, the plastic baby bottles may start to show scratches and
become not as clear. Silicon nipples also tend to get discolored from the stains of the formula or breast milk.
These signs of ordinary wearing down are all very typical after a certain period of usage, it is not caused by the
use of any type of sterilizers. We recommend replacing the feeding item periodically or please, contact your
objects' manufacturer for caring advice.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
It is rather simple to maintain this appliance. The only thing you have to do is always remember
to keep the inside surface spotless and highly reflective.
Depending on your region and the mineral content of you tap water, some areas may develop watermarks faster
than others. For an optimal sterilization effect, it is recommended to maintain
the high reflective inside surface of the sterilizer spotless.
The inside surface of the UV sterilizer and the glass should only be cleaned with a clean microfiber towel using
only warm distilled water in order to prevent any scratches to the highly polished stainless steel. For stubborn
watermarks, try leaving the warm wet microfiber towel on the spot for a longer period of time, it should wipe off
easily afterwards.
CAUTION: The unit should never come in contact with any cleaning detergents other than water. It will
cause irreversible and cumulative damage to the inside surface of the sterilizer or the UV protectant
coating on the glass.
