5.3 Storage
If the machine is not in use over a longer period of
time, it must be carefully cleaned (refer to chapter
5.1). Spray plain metal parts with an antirust agent.
Only store the machine in dry rooms and protect it
against atmospheric influences

Troubleshooting

The determination of the causes of existing defects and their eliminations always require
increased attention and caution. It is imperative to remove the battery from the machine before
carrying out any troubleshooting (refer to section 4.3).
Some of the most frequent defects and their causes are listed in the following chart. In case of other defects,
contact your dealer or the MAFELL customer service.

Charge battery (refer to section 3.1)
Replace the carbon brushes
(refer to section 5.2)
Press the crosswise changeover slider
to the left for clockwise rotation
Press the crosswise changeover slider
to the right for anti-clockwise rotation
