• Do not use your unit if it is not working properly, if it has fallen or if the
cord is damaged. Never attempt to repair this electrical appliance your-
self: instead, contact a qualified technician.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
• When the appliance is user in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proxi-
mity of water presents a hazard even when the appliance is switched off.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Warn children of the dangers of electrical equipment and inform them of
the relevant safety standards. Never leave electrical equipment within
reach of children.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
• The elements used to pack the unit (plastic bags, cardboard box, etc.) must
be kept out of reach of children as they are a potential danger to them.
• This unit must only be used for the purposes for which it is expressly
intended. Any other use is to be considered improper and therefore dan-
gerous. The manufacturer will not be held liable for any damage or injury
deriving from improper or incorrect use.
• Do not use hair spray while the unit is turned on.
• Keep the plates clean and free of dust, hair spray, styling gel, etc.
• To avoid dangerous overheating, it is advisable to unwind the entire
length of the cord.
Important
To guarantee additional protection it is recommended that the power
supply system feeding the appliance be fitted with a differential switch
with a trip current not greater than 30 mA. For further information, plea-
se contact a qualified electrician.

Switching the unit on and Selecting the temperature
1. Insert the plug into the power socket.
2. Press and hold the ON/OFF button (2) for approximately 2 seconds. The
display (5) will indicate the temperature (6).
