CLEANING FLOORS
WARNING: Before steam treating surfac-
es (wood or laminate floors, carpets, rugs,
leather and fabrics and any surfaces espe-
cially those that are delicate or treated),
consult the surface manufacturer's or the
supplier/installer's instructions and always
perform a test on a section that is out of
view or on a sample. Allow the steamed
surface to dry to ensure that there is no de-
terioration, change of colour or deforma-
tion and that the surface stands up to the
temperature of the steam.
Before using the appliance on delicate sur-
faces, ensure that the part in contact with
the surface is free from foreign bodies that
could cause scratches.
It is good practice to sweep or vacuum the
floor first before steam cleaning it.
Ensure that the points in Chapters 1 and 2
have been performed.
5.1
Attach the cloth provided to the floor
brush. To make it easier to attach, the cloth
has an easy lock/release system to avoid hav-
ing to bend over and use your hands. Just
place the cleaning side of the cloth on the
floor and set the brush on top (10).
5.2 Unlock the appliance brush by tilting it
backward and using your foot.
5.3 Select the program type (7). For this type
of surface, we recommend medium (MED).
The appliance will start producing steam (the
tank will light up to indicate that the appliance
is producing steam). It is then possible to start
cleaning by moving the mop back and forth.
To stop producing steam, press the central
Steam Regulation button several times on the
control panel (7) until the light turns on
or hold it down for more than 2 seconds.
5.4 The brush has a flexible joint that makes
it easy to also clean corners and edges of fur-
niture and walls.
During cleaning, it is possible to insert the
power cord into the upper hook to prevent
it possibly getting in the way (11).
