ring B.
6) Insert the ring in the suitable seats on the plate with
felt and finning.
7) Insert again the key on the holes of the fixing paper
ring,
push the stop rotation button, tighten the ring turning the
key on the direction indicated in the picture till a complete
locking.
8) Screw completely the safety screw on the fixing
paper ring paying attention that this screw must be inserted
between two of the fins of the finned plate; if this not
happens tighten again the fixing paper ring.
The safety screw A is only avoiding that the fixing
paper ring unloose in the case that the machine is running,
by a mistake, on the opposite direction to those indicated
on the metal plate.
ATTENTION! Don't push the button C if the machine
is running.
4 ABRASIVE PAPER
Only use good quality abrasive paper as this will
improve the sanding efficiency and reduce working time.
Use coarse grade (40-60-80) sanding sheets for when
large quantities of material require to be removed. For
finishing operations use 150 to 320 grade sanding sheets.
5 DIRECTION OF ROTATION (only for DP207/920F)
Before starting the machine make sure that the
direction of rotation is the same as that indicated on arrow
L (fig. 1) located on the machine body. If rotation is in
the opposite direction, invert the two wires on the switch
that come from the motor. In case of difficulties consult a
Felisatti service center.
6 DUST SUCTION
Felisatti AS22 and AS35/E dust suction units have
been designed to keep working areas clean and free from
dust. The AS35/E model is remote-controlled by means of
the switch on the electric power tool, that can be connected
by simply inserting the plug into socket located on the dust
suction unit, thus avoiding wasting time and energy. The
AS models are predisposed for dust suction. Connect the
suction tube to the pipe union located on the base, as
indicated in the figure.
6 IMPROPER USE
The functions and use of this tool are those exclusively
indicated in this manual.
ANY OTHER USE OF THE TOOL IS EXPLICITLY
FORBIDDEN !
INSTALLATION
PACKAGING
This tool is sold complete with accessories and the
user's manual, contained in a cardboard box (or in a metal
case) of suitable size and thickness for the work that the
tool is intended for. This container should be kept as it will
prove useful for your work.
INSTALLATION
The environmental conditions, temperature, humidity,
lighting, the correct dislocation of your tool and the
cleanliness of the place of work are important conditions
for personal safety and tool performance. These factors
should always be kept under control in order to improve
working conditions and ensure safety.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Before connecting the power tool to the mains or to the
isolation transformer, make sure that it complies with local
norms and that the voltage and the frequency correspond
to those indicated on the machine data plate.
When using extension leads, make sure that the cable
cross section is suited to the cable length. If extension
leads on reels are used, make sure that they are completely
unwound to avoid the risk of overheating.
ATTENTION! The switch on this tool is fitted with a
locking device, allowing the tool to be operated for long
periods of time without interruptions.
Before inserting the plug into the socket, check that the
switch is in the unlocked position.
ATTENTION! When the tool is not to be used for
long periods remember to leave the switch device in the
unlocked position.
PLACE OF WORK
The tool that you have purchased is a portable electric
power tool.
Only one user should operate this tool, given its shape,
weight and maneuverability.
Normal use requires that both of the operator's hands are
firmly kept on the two handgrips.
ATTENTION! Always keep hands a safe distance
away from the pad!
NOISE AND VIBRATION
This tool has been designed and made to reduce
noise to a minimum. however, in spite of this, in certain
circumstances the maximum noise level in the place
of work could exceed 85 dBA. In this case, the operator
should wear ear protection.
The machine's noise and vibration levels, measured in
compliance with EN 60745, usually reach:
Acoustic pressure = 96 dB(A)
Sound-power level = 109 dB(A)
Use ear protection!
vibration acceleration = 2,9 m/s
WARNING! The vibration level given in these
instructions has been measured in accordance with
a standardized measurement procedure specified in
EN60745 and can be used to compare devices. Different
uses of the device give rise to different vibration levels and
in many cases they may exceed the values given in these
instructions. It is easy to underestimate the vibration load
if the electrical power tool is used regularly in particular
circumstances.
Note. if you wish to make an accurate assessment of
the vibration loads experienced during a particular period of
working , you should also take into account the intervening
periods of time when the device is switched off or is running
but is not actually in use. This can result in a much lower
vibration load over the whole of the period of working.
ACCESSORIES
Accessories and their corresponding order number
can be found in our catalogues.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE
WARNING! Always unplug the machine before
carrying out work on it.
-
Inspect the tool: Using a worn deburring or cutting tool
will diminish the efficiency of the work and could damage
the motor.
-
Inspect the mounting screws: Regularly inspect all the
mounting screws and ensure they are firmly tight-ened.
