Charging process
Do not expose the battery to
extreme conditions such as
heat and impact. There is a risk of in-
jury from leaking electrolyte solution!
In case of contact, rinse with water or
neutraliser and consult a doctor if con-
tact has occurred with eyes etc.
Charge the battery only in
dry areas.
Do not switch on the device while
charging it. There is a risk of injury
from electric shock.
The rechargeable battery reaches
its full capacity only after it was
charged several times.
The safety key must be inserted dur-
ing the charging process.
Before initial use, charge the battery in-
stalled in the equipment. Do not charge
the battery for several short periods in
succession.
To charge the Li-ion battery integrated
in the device, use only the
EU: WJG-Y130502200WU1/
UK: WJB-Y130502200WU1
power adapter. The power adapter is
available from our online shop.
For charging use only protection class
II power supply approved for use with
household products.
The device may only be powered with
SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) output
5 V, max. 2200 mA.
Recharge the battery if the equipment
runs too slowly.
In all cases, observe the applicable safety
information as well as the regulations and
directions for environmental protection.

dling are not subject to the guarantee.
1. Insert the safety key (7).
2. Connect the charging cable (14)
to the power supply unit.
3. Connect the charger cable plug
(15) with the charger socket on
the tool (6).
4. Connect the power supply unit to
a socket.
The charging indicator (2) lights up:
Red: Equipment charging.
Green: Charging finished.
The recommended charging time
is approx. 1 hour.
This charging time can only
be achieved using the power
adapter.
5. After the recharging process
is completed, first unplug the
charger from the wall outlet, and
then remove the charger cable
plug (15) from the tool.
Operation
Keep to noise abatement regula-
tions and other by-laws.
Insert/replace the blade
Before inserting or replacing
the blades, make sure that
the appliance is switched
off and the safety key (7) is
pulled in order to prevent
hazards and injuries.
Insert the blade
1. Put the grass cutting blade (10) or the
bush cutting blade (12) onto the plug-in
connector (16) on the bottom side of the
cutter head (1).
